Our long-awaited continuing education credit verification site is up and running for 2018 renewals. We have asked for quite a while to have providers upload the continuing education credit you receive to a central depository so that you can go in to check what you received credit for courses taken. That has finally come to fruition and you will be receiving information from the SC Real Estate Commission shortly on how to check your credit. It will be imperative that you go to the site to check before renewing, because a second feature of the site is that you will not be allowed to renew unless the required credits have been uploaded.
As part of License Law 2017, each provider is required to upload within a few days of your course completion. As a convenience to you, we have uploaded all the way back to July 1, 2016 so that you should not have a problem even if you took courses early. We cannot, however, upload courses taken by another provider. Each individual course and provider number is linked, so each provider can only upload courses offered through that school.
If you took courses through another provider and received a course certificate, you must contact that provider to upload on your behalf. Another reason to take education through your local association!
